The short films of Gorman Bechard

I Walked Away – a short film by Gorman Bechard to a song by Strays Don’t Sleep

So…back in March as the world was shutting down around us, and Kristine was closing down Willoughby’s for what would be almost three months, I roamed the streets of New Haven with one of my cameras. Recently my friend, Matt Ryan, released a new song with his band Strays Don’t Sleep. That gorgeous piece of music somehow brought the images I shot that day to mind. So I sat down at my computer and began to edit. This is what happened…

Dedicated to the city of New Haven, the people who have struggled, the lives we have lost. Be safe. Be strong. Be kind.

Song: “I Walked Away” from the EP “A Short Film for a Long Story” by Strays Don’t Sleep. Written/produced by Neilson Hubbard & Matthew Ryan.  Please visit: https://matthewryan.bandcamp.com or www.MatthewRyanOnline.com
