Kaity Bolding (she/her) is an independent filmmaker, screenwriter, aspiring novelist, journalist/film critic, and…dog trainer. After a career change at 30, she got her degree in Film, Television, and Digital Production from Southern Connecticut State University. She is currently co-director for the independently-owned, all-women/non-binary-staffed website Nerds and Beyond where she covers film and television along with events and assists with productions for What Were We Thinking Films and other productions. While working independently on a short film that is set to enter pre-production, she is associate producer on Powder Ridge: Sex, Drugs, No Rock & Roll and co-producing Normal Valid Lives for What Were We Thinking Films and was a juror for, and assisted at the 2023 NHDocs Film Festival.
