Faith Marek is a video editor and videographer working out of CT and NYC. Her love of film began at an early age, morphing into a passion for storytelling and the moving image during her sophomore year of high school. Those formative video classes ignited a stubborn desire to acquire one of the highly coveted “Top Useless Degrees,” earning her a BFA in Film and Video from The School of Visual Arts. She was the finishing editor on the independent feature-length documentary BLACK WOMEN IN MEDICINE, and has been editing campaigns and social content for fashion and beauty brands for the past seven years. She joined the What Were We Thinking Films family in June 2023, and has since co-edited, animated, and color corrected SLICE OF AMERICA: CHARRED IN THE FLORIDA SUN.  Faith is currently co-producing, editing, and shooting BEST VIDEO THE MOVIE.
