Sydni Frisch is a video editor and a student filmmaker at Western Connecticut State University, majoring in Media Production. She started editing in 2015, creating videos and sharing them on YouTube and Instagram. She has now accumulated a total of over 60,000 followers / subscribers across the different social media platforms for her editing.
She has worked as a Director, Producer, Writer, and Editor for several projects from basic to advanced video production at Western Connecticut State University. She has also won several awards for her work on these projects. Her short documentary titled MY SON won “Best in Show” and “Best Documentary” in the BEA Club Film Festival in 2020. She has also won four first place awards, two judges selection awards, and one award of excellence in this festival. She was the Remote Feed Producer in WCSU’s Live News & Election Coverage 2019 show, which came in Second Place at the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences / New England (THE EMMY). She now works with filmmaker / director Gorman Bechard as an editor. She edited his feature Old Friends A Dogumentary, has edited several trailers for his films, and is currently cutting his upcoming documentary FACTORY.
